I attended
Healing
Hands Institute for Massage Therapy,
Westwood, NJ, from 2006-2008. In the New York State Professionals
Program. I am currently licensed in the states of Florida and New
York.
My education
consists of 1022 hours of professional
training, plus many more hours of continuing education in Shiatsu,
Reflexology, Hot Stone, and
Thai Massage.
Healing Hands Institute
gave me the
opportunity to do hands on work in a
hospital setting. It gave med the privilege of treating a variety of
people with severe
disabilities and health issues.
Here in Florida I have
worked in a variety of settings, including spa, gym, and on site. I
also fill in regularly at an auto injury clinic in Tampa.
Much of my massage
style is based on intuition. When I
place my hands on someone for the first time, my hands usually seem to
tell me
what kind of work is appropriate. My clients appreciate that I have a
sense of how I should treat them without them necessarily having to
tell me.
You'll
feel a noticeable difference between my massage, and much of what you
have experienced in the past. I look forward to helping you connect
with your body, relieving your pains, and promoting the return to
balance that your body wants.
Most of my clients
come to me for deep tissue and trigger points work. That is what I do
best.
